THE CARIBBEAN IN PAINTING
Expressionism is the artistic current that Esteban Marrugo uses in his works of art full of color and life.
Artist graduated from Fine Arts in Cartagena. Esteban is also a bodybuilder and personal Trainer.
His passion is painting. He works the mixed technique with brush and spatula.
He uses acrylic on canvas where a lot of color and life of the Colombian culture of the Caribbean predominate.

Esteban has prepared a special series of paintings for the Qatar-Dubai tour on Nov’23. These are seascapes inspired by both cultures. On the one hand it shows the traditional mosques and on the other hand the boats of the Cartagena Marina.

The main exhibitions that he have participated during his artistic career have seen him in venues such as the Club de Pesca, Marina de Cartagena, Sunset Monalisa Art Experience in Cabo San Lucas, Artwalk San José del Cabo both in Mexico.
He has also participated in exhibitions in Spain in the Albacete City Council and in Madrid, St Jean Cap Ferrat, France and Karlsruhe, Germany.
His paintings are in private collections in America, the United States and Europe.
